It didn't really look like an effort problem to me. Maybe not as focused as needed but deflected goals off US players giving Sweden a goal, a penalty kick a few minutes into the match, missed wide-open goals, easy goals bouncing off the post. Seemed more like a case of catching the shat end of the stick instead of an effort problem.

Ah. I heard the stat on Mike and Mike this morning while getting ready for work. If it's been that long it's an irrelevant stat.
